The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

This creation was inspired by all the friends that I have been lucky enough to have been blessed with in my life.  The creation was made for The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge.  So many sentiments to choose from, this is the perfect one for my friends and family.

The sentiment is "A True Friend" from Sweet N Sassy Stamps.  My gorgeous designer paper is "Moments" by My Mind's Eye.  The frame around the sentiment is Classic Oval and Majestic Labels Twenty-Five, the roses were made with Bitty Blossoms, both by Spellbinders® PaperArts.  My leaves were created with Botanical Swirls and Accents by Spellbinder PaperArts as well.

Here is the sketch for this week:

Belli Challenge #179 - Ribbon & Pearls

Who doesn't love ribbon and pearls?  I just love these elements added to a creation, makes it a bit more elegant and feminine.  This is such a fun and creative challenge for the Belli Challenge.  For the next two weeks your creation needs to have ribbon & pearls.

The center and border edges were created with Samantha Walker's Doilies & Lace by JustRite® Papercraft.  I cut and embossed all pieces in black embossing powder and colored the centers yellow with Copic markers.  The background is a lace doily from Hobby Lobby.  With black silk from The Stamp Simply Store, I created a bow for my centerpiece.  The final touches are yellow pearls and a antique rose brad.

The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge With A Spin

This week over at The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge With A Spin - School Time.  You need to have something school related on your creation.

It is Fall and I love watching my daughter cheer at her high school football games!  Such fun to get together with friends and cheer for our team.  The crisp air, hot chocolate, screaming fans when we get a touch down.  This is what inspired this creation!  Go ZM Cougars!

The image is "Cheerleader Cookie" digital by Sweet N Sassy.  I colored the image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Lemon Flower Matstack" by Die Cut With A View.  The frame around the image and sentiment was created with Classic Circles and Stars Five by Spellbinders® Paper Arts.  My finishing touch is gray rick rack as a border.

The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge

For this week's The Sweet Stop Sketch Challenge, I created this adorable birthday creation for a very special little boy!  He turned one on August 21, and his theme was zoo animals.  I just love this little boy, he is the son of two very close friends to my husband and I.

I cut and colored "Edmund Elephant, Little Leo Lion, Sammy Seal and Masculine Birthday Greetings" from Sweet N Sassy Digital Stamps. The frames around my animals were created with Classic Squares and my sentiment was computer generated and cut out with the Stars Five, both dies by Spellbinders.  The Summer Splash by My Mind's Eye is so bright and fun, I thought this paper was perfect for this circus theme.  To  finish this darling card I added a yellow grosgrain ribbon and  knot.

Here is this week's sketch, have fun and be creative with this one:

JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge #105 - Autumn Splendor

Oh my gosh, I had such fun creating this card.  The Autumn season is fabulous, I love the changing of the leaves.  The crisp clean air, cheer leading at football games and the smell of hot chocolate. Today I made this ornate autumn card for the JustRite Papercraft Friday Challenge #105 - Autumn Splendor.

My first layer uses Spellbinders® Majestic Labels Twenty-Five with Thankful by Authentique.  I created my leaves with Fall Foliage by cutting and embossing with colored paper. Fancy Tags Two is the base for my sentiment stamped with brown ink.  I love JustRite sentiments and though this set is retired (Give Thanks Nested Frames & Occasions), they have other Autumn sets that would work just as well.  My finishing touches are a gold twine bow and brown pearls.
