Warm Wishes!!

Hope everyone had a fabulous Christmas.  We did, it was wonderful.  Now we just have all this snow.  So what a great inspiration for this cute bear called "Warm Wishes" over at DeeDee's Digis.  I used the Happy Monday Challenge which is a sketch.

                                                                                                                      
I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from The Christmas Combo by Die Cut With A View.  I used a Fiskars punch for the cup of cocoa.  I antique linen around the bear and finished with snowflakes and red rhinestones.

Jesus is the Reason!!

Happy Birthday to Jesus!!  We are thankful for all he does for us.  Merry Christmas to you and your family near and far.

I used the image "Touched by Love" by Crissy's Designs over at Whimsy Stamps.  How true the title is, all he has ever done is touch us with his love!!  I colored the humbling image with Copic markers.  I did the best I could with such a gorgeous picture.  My designer paper is "Eskimo Kisses" by Basic Grey.  I used some white lace my sister gave me (I really didn't want it, but I am GLAD she made me take it and try to use it).  The punch is scalloped lace by MS, blue satin ribbon and glitter paper and glitter for her wings.  I added my sentiment by Stampabilities and blue pearls to finish this creation.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 2

Hope everyone is ready for Santa and his reindeer.  I just love this set called "Santa Claus is Coming To Town" by Meljens Designs over at Whimsy Stamps.  I colored Rudolph and Santa with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from My Mind's Eye.  I used a Sizzix folder for the teal background paper.  I finished this fun card with glitter, stars and brown twine.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 4

I created this card using a stamp set my sister gave me for Christmas last year.  The "Christmas Tree Mouse" is by Impression Obsession.  I just love these cute little mouse stamps.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from JoAnn's and Hobby Lobby.  I used the snowflake cuddlebug folder on the gold glitter paper.  My punch is scalloped lace by MS.  To finish the card I added an ivory/gold satin/organza ribbon and gold pearls.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 5

This card I created for my sister Darsie.  She is my angel!!  I got the frame from her as well.  She has a big version and I asked if she would scan and make it smaller for me.  Isn't she just GREAT!!

My image is "Little Christmas Angel" by Crissy's Digis over at Whimsy Stamps.  I colored the angel and frame with Copic markers.  The two glitter paper idea came from my husband (He is good for something).  And I finsihed the card with rhinestone holly's by Recollections.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 6

Here is a card I created when I was at my sister's house this past Thanksgiving.  I just fell in love with this image, so very pretty!!  This is "Christmas Wreath Set" by Fred, She Said.  I colored the wreath with Copic markers.  I used the Le Fluer, Scalloped, Classic Circle Nestabilities, I cut out one in each color glitter paper.  Next I twisted each glittered nestability to make my circle design.  I Sizzix my background, added gold pearls and ribbon to finish the card.

I created this card for my neice Janessa who lives in Texas.  She was visiting her mother Darsie when I was there visiting her.  We had a family Christmas, oh what fun we had!!!

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 13

This card I created was for the "Happy Monday Challenge" over at DeeDee's Digis.  The challenge is a color theme of gold and burgandy.  The image is "Beauty of the Season".  I love pointsettias, but I can't keep them alive.  So the fake ones work great for me.  Rush over to DeeDee's store because ALL of her Christmas digis are on sale for $1.00 until the end of December.  Hurry what a great gift idea!!

I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is "Greetings of the Season" by The Paper Studio.  I matted the background with gold glitter paper by Doodlebug.  I finished my creation with gold pearls, gold/burgandy ribbon and burgandy rhinestones.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 14

Well Winter is finally here!!  We just got a dumping of snow of 17 inches.  That's what I said, 17 INCHES!!
The wind is blowing and our temperature has dropped to -4 below.  Crazy stuff!!

Here is my creation, even my snowman is cold with his mitten and scarf.  You can get him off the Free Digital Stamps.  I colored him with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from JoAnn's and my glitter paper is from Doodlebug.  The snowflake trim punch is from MS and my sentiment is from Inkadinkado.  I finished with holly leaves buttons.

Christmas Card Countdown--Day 15

Here is a little something to get you in the Christmas spirit.  I created this card using "Christmas Tree" by Meljens Designs.  Their challenge this week is a color theme.  You need to use red, gold and green.

My designer paper is "Christmas Tradition" by The Paper Studio.  I used the classic and scalloped oval by Nestabilities.  I colored my image with Copic markers.  Using red glitter paper, gold star for the tree and a gold bow for the finishing touches.

Christmas Treat for You...

It's Darsie again! Robin will be getting her stitches taken out on Wednesday, YAY!! She'll finally be without a cast! Then she starts physical therapy for 3 days each week! I don't envy her!

Deer Friend...

Here's a cute card I made using one of my favorite holiday images from Deedee's Digis called "Deer Friend."  I created this card using a Snowflake Swirl embossing folder and Marvy Brown Ink. My designer paper is from the Christmas Stack by Die Cuts with a View. I colored the reindeer with Copic markers then cut him out and glued him to the embossed panel. I used a sparkly brown snowflake and small brown pearls for embellishments.

I am MOST Thankful for...

Happy Thanksgiving to you all!!  I love Thanksgiving because it makes use remember what and who we are MOST thankful for in life.  First of all, I am thankful for my most PRECIOUS asset in my life, my TERRIFIC sister Darsie.  She is the MOST giving , wonderful, loving, sweet and funny lady you will ever be privileged to have in your life.  LYTAM, Darsie!!

My family, friends in Minnesota and my friends from the Belli Challenge DT, Stamping Dragon DT, and last but NOT the least DeeDee's Digis DT.  All of these ladies are fabulous to work with and I am truly honored to have each and everyone as a special friend to me.


I created this card using the image "Thomas Turkey" by Meljens Designs over at Whimsy Stamps.  I colored the turkey with Copic markers.  My designer paper I got from my sister's leftover stash of paper.  My embossing folder is Swiss Dots by Cuddlebug.  I used the scalloped retangle to cut out my brown glitter paper.  I finished my card with peel off letter stickers, red rhinestones and a brown organza/satin ribbon.

Belli Challenge--Anything with an R

I made this card for friends of mine who is celebrating their 10th anniversary.  The image is "Everlasting Light".  You can find this wonderful image over at DeeDee's Digis.  Our challenge this week is to use anything with R's.  I have roses, ribbon, red pearls.


I colored the candle and roses with Copic markers.  The embossing folder is from Quickutz.  Then I added a red satin ribbon and some lacey scallop trim (that I got from my sister).  Next I added a red/gold organza ribbon and a red rose from  Recollections.   I finished by adding red pearls on the diamond shapes.

Rupert's Thanksgiving...

Hi, it's Darsie here again (Robin's sister). While she is recuperating from her foot surgery, I will be posting for her! She made a darling Thanksgiving card using Stamping Dragon Designs "Rupert's Thanksgiving". Right now, they are having a November Sale and now is the time to pick up these fabulous images for your holiday crafting!

Robin colored Rupert with Copic Markers, then glued him to a blue checkered pattern paper which was then adhered to brown glitter paper from Doodlebug. Her sentiment (Inkadinkado) was stamped with Marvy Brown ink, and mounted to the same checkered paper. She glued it onto a white panel, then to a brown and blue striped designer paper from JoAnn's and added some cute rhinestone embellishments. Last thing she added was a pretty organza and satin bow, and brown pearls in the corners.

Happy Monday Challenge

It's Monday and you know what that means, Happy Monday Challenge over at DeeDee's Digis.  The theme for this week's challenge is to use the colors red, yellow and brown.  Wonderful FALL colors!! 

I created this card by using "Hello Pumpkin".  I colored my image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from K&Company.  The punch is by Martha Stewart and I used the Classic and Scalloped Circle Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  Next I added leaves that were inked to make them look realistic.  My finishing touches are the gold leaf brad and pearl.

Belli Challenge

On the Belli Challenge this week, it  is to use "Something borrowed, Something blue, Something new, Something old.  Does NOT have to be for a wedding!!  So I asked my sister Darsie to send me something borrowed.  She sent this card, and I cut the front off and added it to white cardstock.


I used the stamp set "Holiday Cheer" by JustRite Stampers.  I colored all of my images with Copic markers.  On the opposite circles I added white snowflakes.  To finish my creation I added red satin ribbon on the bottom and lime green grograin with a knot.

Leave Me Smiling

It is gift giving time of the year and I have created this darling candy box using the digi set "Leave me Smiling". You can pick this up at DeeDee's Digis. Just a reminder, all FALL digis are on SALE for $1.00 for the month of November. Some of the FALL digis will work perfectly for Thanksgiving as well.

It is so easy to create this candy box. I colored the image with Copic markers, then cut it out. I filled the acetate box with Hershey's Nuggets that I have wrapped with designer paper. A quick and simple gift for a secret pal, teachers, postmen and newspaper boys.

Bright Snowman

Here is a card I created using an image from Free Digital Stamps.  He is called "Snowflake Man" by Just4FunCrafts.  I colored him with Copic markers.  My designer paper is by Die Cut With A View.  I used the plain and scalloped Octogan Nestabilities by Spellbinders.  Then I used the large snowflake Cuddlebug embossing folder for the blue glitter paper.  Next I added snowflake buttons and lavender pearls to finish the card.

Today it is Belli Challenge using Flocking or Flower Soft.  I made this card with an image from Angie Whalley called "Mummy Bear".  I found this image on Free Digital Stamps.  My flocking paper is Halloween words in a soft orange.  I colored my mummy with Copic markers.  My pumpkin punch is from EK Success.  The spiderweb is a self adhesive from Recollections.  I put the image on black glitter paper by Coredinations.  I finished with black brads and an orange spider.

Warm Holiday Wishes

This is a card I created using the "Christmas Warmth Fireplace" from Stitchy Bear Store over at Stamping Dragon Designs.  Stop on over to see all the fun images that are available.   My designer paper is "Faith" by Paper Studio.  I colored the image with Copic markers and used one of the Fancy Tags from Spellbinders for my sentiment.  I then finished with glitter burgundy ribbon and colored the letters "HO HO" green.


Purr-fect Halloween!!!!!

When I saw this image of "Purr-fect Halloween" by DeeDee's Digis for Halloween, I just knew I would be using it for treat bags for my children.  I found this treat bag tutorial on Splitcoast Stampers (it is in the resource section).  It was very easy to construct and I used one of my favorite Halloween paper for the bag.

I colored this image with Copic markers and my designer paper is from a local scrapbooking store.  I used a MS spiderweb corner punch and finished with a silver spider charm and black pearls.

Friends Are Flowers

Here is my card I created using "Friends Word Art" from Stamping Dragon Designs.  I used a Sizzix folder with my glitter paper by Doodlebug to create my designer paper.  I colored my image with Copic markers and softened the background with Deep Lilac Ink by Marvy.  I added  glitter paper swirls by Marianne's Creatables.  Under my sentiment I used white satin ribbon and purple rick rack.  Finally, I created butterflies by using silver stickers on acetate, cut them out and added pearls as my finishing touches.

Plenty of Fun!!!!

I made this card using the "Plenty of Fun" image from DeeDee's Digis.  The sketch is from DeeDee's Happy Monday Sketch Challenge.  So go and check us out and play along with her digis and her sketch challenge.

I colored my duckie image with Copic markers.  My designer paper is from Debbie Mum.  Next I added  brown satin ribbon and light brown rickrack.  I softened the background of my duckie and sentiment by sponging antique linen ink.  I finished the creation with a combination of brown/burnt orange organza bow, brown pearls and a silver leaf charm.

I am so EXCITED as this is my first posting as a new design team member for DeeDee's Digis. My cute little card features the dollar digi set "Hay, pumpkin". I can't believe this adorable image is ONLY a dollar!! I had fun coloring the image with Copic Markers and digging through my punches for my card. My designer paper is from the Amber Autumn stack by Die Cuts With A View. I finished with olive green rick rack and rhinestone leaves I found at Michael's.
